Journey Notes

Post-Extra Life Twitch Stream Survey

First of all, a massive thank you to everyone who attended the Extra Life live streams and to everyone who donated! We completely surpassed expectations, and I’m proud to announce that we have raised more than $200 for Extra Life and the Children’s Miracle Hospital Network!

Okay, so this blog post doesn’t have the most eloquent of titles, I know, but now that I’ve finished with the Extra Life live stream, I wanted to get a general impression of what you thought about me streaming.

As most of you know, the Extra Life stream was my first time streaming/recording my gameplay, and I thought it might be fun to do more of it. That being said, I would like your opinion on the matter, so please leave a comment below! Even if you didn’t attend any of the streams, I’d still like to hear your thoughts!

1. Did you tune into the Extra Life stream? If so, what did you like about it? (I.e. the commentary, the games we chose, etc.)

2. Would you want to see me do more live streams?

3. Would you be interested in me posting content (Let’s Plays and the like) onto YouTube?

4. What kind of games would you like to see me play? Some sillier games that have nothing to do with my blog’s content or games that I’m playing for upcoming posts? Or both?

If you can answer the questions above, it would be a big help! Feel free to also add any other comments you might think of. In the next few days, I will be setting up my YouTube channel so that I can post some of the stream highlights!

Finally, next week I will be doing a Q&A for this blog, so send in your questions! You can send them either through social media or my Contact page here.

  1. 1) Yeah! I had fun every time I attented, and I really enjoyed that you were clearly having fun with the games too.
    2) I’d totally watch them again if you streamed!
    3) I feel like that could be cool in case someone missed it and wanted to check ’em out, but no pressure!
    4) Both? Both is good!
